Within 90 days of entering the organization, I was promoted to District Manager after successfully navigating complex, multi-site retail operations. As the Black female executive in the region, I led a geographically diverse team across eight Walmart-based locations, aligning performance, people, and process within a high-volume retail environment.

The HOLLER Program (Honor Observe Listen Learn Elevate Reflect) was birthed from a mission to empower the youth through creative expression and life-skills mentorship. What began as a grassroots initiative evolved into a sophisticated educational curriculum. By leveraging my background in creative operations, I moved the program from a private concept into a funded partnership with the Newport News Public Schools, proving that soulful missions can meet rigorous institutional standards.

The Challenge: Addressing the systemic issue of school bullying through a method that resonates with students. My family’s multi-generational experience with bullying drove me to find a solution that moved beyond traditional disciplinary measures and focused on character building.
